Years 7-9
Year 7 is an important year when our pupils make the transition into Senior School. Small changes to the school uniform and timetable, for example, differentiate these pupils from the younger years.
Year 7 pupils begin the year with team-building activities in order to help new pupils to settle in. Pupils start learning Spanish.
Year 8 pupils continue with the same subjects, but make a choice between French and Spanish.
Year 9 pupils gain new experience of our GCSE/BTEC courses that they won't have prior awareness of: Animal Care and Media Studies. They work through a series of talks and interviews in preparation for choosing their Key Stage 4 subjects.
The Curriculum in Key Stage 3 covers the following subjects:
- English
