Key Stage 4 (Years 10–11)
Year 10 marks the beginning of Key Stage 4, when pupils start their GCSE and equivalent qualification courses. At LGS Stoneygate, all pupils study a strong core curriculum alongside four option subjects, allowing them to pursue areas that inspire and motivate them.
Core Subjects
All pupils study the following five core GCSE/IGCSE qualifications:

Pupils choose four subjects from a broad and balanced range:

- Physical Education (International GCSE)

- Further Maths (Level 2 Certificate)
Wider curriculum
Alongside their examined subjects, pupils also take part in:
- Games, with a choice of two pathways
- PSHE, supporting personal development, wellbeing, and life skills

- Provide clear progression to Sixth Form study and, ultimately, university or other post‑16 pathways
